The Women Lawyers of Western New York organization has voted MARYANN SACCOMANDO FREEDMAN one of two Women Lawyers of the Century. Ms. Freedman was honored for her career, blazing trails for other women lawyers to follow, at an event celebrating the organization’s 100th year anniversary. The organization, which promotes and supports women in the legal profession and demonstrates commitment to the community through scholarships and donations, boasts that it is the longest-running women’s organization in Western New York.

TERRIE BENSON MURRAY was a featured speaker at a public forum seminar entitled Long-Term Care Planning – How to Protect You and Your Family. The event was held at the Clarence Public Library.

JAMES NASH has been reappointed to the Board of Directors of the BISON Scholarship Fund. The organization raises money to fund scholarships for underprivileged children to attend private grammar schools.

Top 100 Magazine publishes a yearly list of the top 100 attorneys in New York State. The publication states that “only the most consummate professionals are considered for publication.” This year, KATHERINE BESTINE, ROCCO LUCENTE II, TERRIE BENSON MURRAY, MARYANN SACCOMANDO FREEDMAN all made the list.
